Founded in 1958, Northminster Presbyterian Church is a vibrant fellowship with a strong heritage of serving the Sarasota community. As its membership has grown, the church realized its need to expand and update its facilities. Wessel Construction was enlisted for the church construction.

Wessel created a new sanctuary, the first step in a multi-phase project. This addition connects to the existing church building. The exterior includes a vibrant red roof and dominant cross structure, providing a landmark to those driving by. The addition also included a spacious porte cochere for easy drop-off and pick-up.

For the interior, the sanctuary is clean and bright. New lighting and sound system amplify services. For the second phase, Wessel remodeled the church’s Fellowship Hall and adjoining classrooms.

Wessel understood that transparency and open dialog were keys to success for this project. Our project team worked closely with the church’s representatives to ensure the facility drawings presented by Northminster were built as promised.

With completion of this church construction project, Northminster Presbyterian Church looks forward to welcoming congregants for years to come.
